Meet the artist

If you have wound up here, I am guessing you want to know a little bit more about me!! My name is Leanne Peek and I am professional studio and Live Event painter based in Southwest Georgia. I have lived in the Peach State since 2007 and love the southern hospitality.

My dream job has always been to become a freelance portrait artist, and, after graduating with my Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in 2009, I have been doing just that. I have painted for so many people over the years and all over the continental United States, Canada, as well as many other countries. I am so blessed to be able to call this my JOB!!

There is no medium I won’t try and when I am taking time off of commissions and live work, you bet I’m in the studio trying out something new!! I have worked in acrylic, oil, watercolor, charcoal, colored pencil, alcohol markers, mixed media, clay, wet photography….shall I go on?? I am a true lover of all the arts and I never plan on stopping my learning journey in the field.

Here is the real good stuff you need to know about me. I am a goof ball. I love hard. I work harder…. and no lie, I play the hardest! I cut up with everyone I meet and I love a good adventure. I am trustworthy and have a big heart. I donate my work wherever I can to make impactful differences to my community and beyond. I am a giver. Compassion is my middle name (really its Kay, but, compassion would be an actual cool middle name). I only wear black 99.9% of the time, not because it is flattering, but, because I don’t like spending my time putting together outfits (sorry no OOTD vids from me). Black goes with EVERYTHING. I love all animals. If you have a dog, I’m probably going to want to paint their portrait…just saying. I’m an artist, but, most importantly I am a Mother and a Wife. My little family is my world. They are the key reason I am who I am and I do what I do. The End.
